The complexity of the industry has discouraged opposition. Simple reform ideas can encourage it. Our most important reform is simple and one people can picture:  Print the rate on the card!


Since people will use the cards in their wallets labeled with the lowest rates, this reform would create unprecedented interest rate competition potentially making rate caps unnecessary.


This reform is very popular. Politically, it seems to have support from the far left to far right. If we’re successful, it’s a reform that over 170 million people will see on their credit card!

Unethical strategy? No. Winning strategy? Yes.


Recently, some critics have suggested that we are using an unethical strategy. Our flyer posting strategy promotes vandalism they’ve said.


This is not vandalism. It’s free speech. We recommend using tape that leaves no residue causing no damage to bank doors, windows, or ATM’s.


There are few options in opposing the power of billion dollar corporations.


This can be a winning strategy because:


• The biggest obstacle to any national campaign is raising money.

  1. This strategy overcomes that obstacle making it possible to grow nationally without fund raising.

  2. Posting flyers is not only a way to spread ideas cheaply, it is an act of public protest.
